About Allie
Allie Louise (b.2000) is a self-taught artist based in Livingston, MT curating photo-realistic art with soft pastels. When she began painting with pastels in 2022, she dedicated herself to creating art that is visually compelling, thought-provoking, and that invites the viewers to engage with the subject matter on a deeper level. She has since been featured in Southwest Art "21 Under 31", Yellowstone Art Museum 57th Annual Auction, Coors Western Art Young Guns, Artist's Magazine 41st Annual Art Competition Honorable Mention 2025, and more.
"Looking past the obvious, close observation and engagement of the subject is my process. Though my pieces are meant to look like photos at first glance, I am proud that up close the viewer is able to see the hundreds of thousands of tedious pastel marks. My goal is to inspire those who see my work to look more carefully at the detail in the things around them."
