About Allie

Allie Louise (b.2000) is a self-taught emerging artist based in Livingston, Montana with a deep passion for curating photo-realistic art in pastels. When she began painting with pastels in 2022, she dedicated herself to creating art that is visually compelling, thought-provoking, and that invites the viewers to engage with the subject matter on a deeper level as she meticulously places each tiny pastel mark on paper. Through her art, she strives to capture the emotion and soul of her subjects. Though her pieces are meant to look like photos at first glance, she is proud that up close the viewer is able to see her tedious mark making. Each tiny mark of pastel is a tribute to the enduring bond between humans and animals, a testament to their unspoken power, and a celebration of the untamed spirit that dwells within. Allie Louise has begun working diligently to turn her interest in curating artwork into a lifelong commitment.

She is currently represented by

  • Two Rivers Gallery in Big Timber, Montana

The meaning behind the name:

When she started art a couple years ago she knew Thomas (her maiden name) would change to Parker this coming July. She wanted to start her art career with a name that is truly only hers as well - Allie Louise. Louise is a generational name for her ( for over 5 generations) and it is special in that regard. She also believes that once upon a time her mother and grandmother who dabbled in art for fun at some point in their life also signed their art with the name Louise. She thinks it’s a neat tradition to carry on!
