“Out of the Blue” not only alludes to the silky, limitless sky overhead but also captures the essence of the beauty that surrounds us daily. The horse - a symbol of power and grace, it’s spirit unburdened, and it’s presence both captivating and tranquil as the sunlight dances upon its coat. This is not merely a depiction of a horse under a blue sky; it’s a visual poem that encourages us to embrace the inspiration in the boundless beauty of the world around us, often when we least expect it.
All of my original pieces are framed behind museum glass to protect during transportation out of my studio and to prolong the life of the pastel against UV rays. Inside the frame, on the glass, tiny spacers separate the glass from the artwork to prevent the pastel from smearing. I also use a UV resistant setting spray before framing any piece.
